Scripture Reader Software
Program Download
To download the program go to the download section and select the appropriate version. We recommend always downloading the latest version to take advantage of bug-fixes and software improvements.
Once the folder has downloaded you will need to export the program from the zip folder. This can be done by right-clicking on the folder and selecting export. Remember where you exported the folder to as this is where you will find the program each time you run it.
You will also need a method for sending the video to the live stream. This can be done using Desktop Presenter for Wire-cast, a window capture on the live-stream machine or using NDI-tools.Using the program
If you are using Desktop Presenter or NDI-tools, you will need to start the process on the live-stream computer and the scripture reader machine. No changes will need to be made to these programs once they have been set up initially.
To start the program open the exe file. You will then need to select the source passage of scripture using the boxes at the top right and load it into the preview pane by clicking the [GO] button. Formatting changes can then be made in the preview pane. To send these across to the display pane click the [SEND] button. This will send the top lines in the preview pane to the display pane, not the visible ones.
To ready the next verses, delete the top sections of text.
Make sure that the cursor doesn't move to the left of the striped line as it may be visible in the broadcast if it does.
Buttons and Functions
[GO] - load the selected passage of scripture into the preview pane
[SEND] - send the contents of the preview pane into the display pane
[?] - get help with using the program
[C] - clear the contents of the preview and display panes
[X] - closes the program
[Show Chapter] - to hide the book and chapter at in the display pane, deselect this tick-box
